Owl City



Owl City is an American electronica musical project by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young in 2007. Adam created this band while experimenting with music in his parents's basement. Adam Young is the only member of the band. He served as the band's lead vocals, programming, keyboards, piano, synthesizers, guitars, bass guitar, drums, percussion and vibraphone.




Owl City's music is described as indietronica and synthpop and is often described as belonging under the "electronic music" label. Adam has stated that he is inspired by disco and European electronic music. Owl city's music used simple electronic instrumental and with Adam amazing voice that make people feel like entering the fairy tale world.



1. Fireflies





"Fireflies" is the debut single from Owl City's album Ocean Eyes. Adam Young described the song as "a little song about bugs and not being able to fall asleep at night." The song's lyrics about insomnia, fireflies and summer. As of December 23, 2012, the video has received 83,171,294 views on YouTube.



2.Vanilla Twilight



 


This song have beautiful music and lyrics. You will through the music video and Adam's voice to feel vanilla twilight. The video uses the album version of the song and features a cameo appearance by Shaquille O'Neal 


3. Good Time


"Good Time" is Owl City collaborating with Canadian artist Carly Rae Jepsen that released on June 2012. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics, with critics describing it as a "Summer Anthem".
